Sorry, Antony, for running a little late on this
story I'm drawing, but damn, I think I got carried away with this 1 page
spread. I just love drawing carnage. You'll understand once you see it.
I hope to upload this sucker tonight.
While I was drawing, Lost In Space the movie was
showing on HBO. Hey, this movie is FUN. The action really doesn't stop.
And Gary Oldman is simply hilarious as Dr. Smith.
I'll soon be trasferring this blog to my own server...I'm
just trying to figure out how to work out the kinks...

Well, it's Valentine's day. Here I am on my drawing
board drawing a whole page of absolute bloody brutal carnage. It's FUN!
A lot has been said about Valentines day, that its nothing more than a
commercial holiday designed to con you out of your money, and that everyday
should be Valentines day. Hell, even I bashed on Valentines day in Wasted.
But that was just my state of mind back then.
Well, so what if it's just a commercial holiday?
And I know it's better if everyday were Valentines day. Think of it like
your birthday, or father or mother's day. Or your town fiesta. Everyone
should have a special day. A day to celebrate. Even though love should
be celebrated everyday, I think it should have a special day as well. Commercial
or not, if two people find value in this day which brings them closer and
strengthens their relationship, what does it matter?
If you get nothing out of this day, well that's
all right. Go on and just live your life. That's cool. But for you to bash
everyone who finds meaning in this day, well, I think that just makes you
sad and pathetic.

Saturday! Just got back from Alabang with lots
of cool stuff. I got some CDs like The Best of Lightning Seeds, Songs From
the Buffet Table by Barbie's Cradle, and a couple of Beach Boys CDs. What
can I say? I'm on a fun music trip lately.
I also got an issue of the newest Pulp. It's got
a mini interview with yours truly! With a my caricature drawn by Arnold
Arre. Wasted part 5 included!
And hey, there's this guy who writes letters to
Pulp who hates my guts. Called me a poser. Says I'm pissing him off. Hey
Aaron Palileo, if you write in PULP telling people you don't like me, that's
cool man. That's your opinion. But to bash me two issues in a row, I gotta
start to ask. What's your fucking problem? Did I kill any rappers in Wasted?
You're starting to make me wish I had.

I've rediscovered an old favorite of mine. "PURE"
by the Lightning Seeds. I have it on mp3 and i'm just playing it over and
over. The next time I'm in Manila, I'm going to scour the record stores
for the CDs.
Still working on City of Light, as well as January.
Thank God for an extended deadline on City. I certainly needed it because
I felt really bad a while back.
I just won a hardcover of League of Extraordinary
Gentlemen at a local online auction. Can't wait to see it!

I really love walking, specially in the early
morning, and late afternoon. Soon after I wake up, usually around 6am,
I put on my walking shoes and go out. Near the house is a huge lake with
a complete cemented road that goes around it. It runs for some 4 kilometers
and makes for some nice sightseeing. I've seen a lot of remarkable things
during these walks, the most memorable being this gigantic chicken that
lives there. I tell you, you've never seen a huge chicken until you've
seen this one. On occasion I would see a large snake cross the road. One
day a cow was standing right on the road with no way to pass around it.
Everytime I try to go around, the thing would follow me, daring me to pass
him. I ran. And so did the cow! Good thing he was tied down. Of course,
the best thing about this place are the sights! I never get bored whenever
I walk there.
